Plain version

We (Grudged LLC) collect what you send us on the contact form so we can reply. We don't sell it. We don't use it to train models. We don't enroll you in a mailing list. If you want it deleted, email us and it's gone within 30 days.

Who we are

What we collect

• Contact form submissions — the name, business, email, phone (optional), and message you type. That's it.
• Basic server logs — our host (Netlify) records IP, user agent, and request time for security and rate-limiting. We don't read these unless we're investigating an issue.
• Privacy-respecting analytics. We run Umami, self-hosted on our own server at analytics.grudged.io. It counts pageviews and referrers without cookies, IP logging, cross-site tracking, or personal identifiers — no "Do Not Track" bypass, no fingerprinting, and nothing sent to Google or any third party.
• No advertising pixels. No Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, TikTok tracking — none of that is on this site, and it never will be.

How we use it

• Reply to your inquiry, scope the work, send a proposal.
• Stay in touch about the specific engagement you started.
• Invoice you if we end up working together.
• Not used to train AI models. Not sold to anyone. Not used to enroll you in newsletters or drip campaigns.

Third-party services

• Netlify hosts this site and receives form submissions. See Netlify's privacy policy.
• Postmark (email delivery) will relay a notification of your submission to us once our cousin domain is provisioned. See Postmark's policy.
• Google Business Profile — if you leave us a review or interact with our listing on Google, that's governed by Google's policy.
• Umami (self-hosted) — runs on our own infrastructure at analytics.grudged.io. No third party sees this traffic. See Umami's privacy FAQ.

Retention

Contact form submissions are kept for up to 24 months so we can remember the context if you circle back. Client project data (documents, code, access credentials) is kept for the duration of the engagement and 90 days after close unless a written retention clause says otherwise.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the data we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted at any time. Email contact@grudged.io with "Privacy request" in the subject and we'll handle it within 30 days. California residents have additional rights under CCPA; since we don't sell personal information, most of those never apply, but you can still request access or deletion.

Changes

If this policy changes materially (e.g. we add analytics, switch email providers, or take on subprocessors), we'll bump the effective date above and, for active clients, send a short note.
